Today I was determined to find ‘me time’ despite my chaotic schedule. A manicure crammed into my lunch break would have to suffice. The woman who clipped my cuticles accidentally caused my finger to bleed. It hurt so bad. Despite that incident, she seemed like a lovely woman trying to do a good job. As compensation for the cuticle mishap this woman worked extra hard on the free back and neck rub that typically accompanies a New York manicure. When the pampering was over and I paid my bill I ended up giving her TWICE the amount I would give after a normal service. This woman was so appreciative I literally thought she was going to brush my hair and follow me home. I could tell my kind gesture made her day! Be kind!
