Cut peeled onion into thin rings, then soak in milk for 20 minutes or until ready to fry.
Drain from milk, shake in flour mixed with salt, pepper, dry parsley, and cayenne pepper
Fry until golden brown in peanut or vegetable oil.
Sprinkle generously with salt after frying.
Cool on wire rack or paper towels.
